I’m Stu. I’ve been a commercial designer for over 20 years, but my true passion has always been graffiti and urban contemporary art. I’ve been collecting urban-inspired paraphernalia for as long as I can remember—prints, vinyl toys, trainers, you name it. I’ve also been an illustrator for well over 30 years, with my work published many times, and I even painted myself back in the day.

Over time, I realised something: everything I bought kept increasing in value. As much as I struggle to part with pieces, it made sense to turn my passion into something bigger. So I created The Urban Art Dealer—a place to buy and sell the work I love, from legendary names like OG Slick, KAWS, and D*Face to the many lesser-known artists I’m excited to champion.

Alongside this, I’ve launched an urban kids’ brand called The Urban Rascals. As a parent, I noticed how predictable kids’ graphic designs can be, and I felt the scene needed shaking up—so I grabbed the shaker. I’m creating clothing, stickers, flash cards, prints and more for children, but with style parents might actually want for themselves. I love the idea of an alphabet card that looks just as good framed on the wall as it does helping a child learn.

Everything I produce is made in the UK, using high-quality materials, while keeping prices in line with the big retailers.

This is only the beginning. New ideas are evolving, the collection is growing, and I’m excited to see something truly great take shape. Thanks for being here at the start.
